A newly refurbished 17th century former Stable building is now available to hire on site.
Stabal Penarth is a stunning conversion in a historic setting in the grounds of Penarth Fawr, a Medieval gentry hall house which gives a rare glimpse into how the Welsh gentry lived during the 15th century.
Sleeping 8, it has been renovated to a high spec whilst retaining many of its original features. A fantastic mix of traditional and modern makes this a lovely place to stay, especially as it is well located on the Llŷn Peninsula between Pwllheli and Criccieth.
As you enter into this beautiful old stone building, you come into the open plan sitting and dining room. Thick, lime washed stone walls give you a sense of the age of the property. The space, decor and mix of new and antique furniture make this first room a fantastic sociable space. You will undoubtedly want to spend lots of time in here with friends and family.
Through an alcove brings you to the kitchen. A modern farmhouse style kitchen with new appliances and plenty of storage to accommodate everything you will need for your stay.
Off from the kitchen is a twin room with exposed stone walls. Fully carpeted and furnished with traditional wooden furniture and good quality soft furnishings. The ground floor bathroom has a shower over bath, WC and washbasin. It is decorated in neutral colours and has the benefit of the thick white washed walls maintaining the period character.
Upstairs, there are three double rooms. All beautifully presented with apex ceilings. Some interesting yet tasteful furniture and fixtures are complimented by some wonderful artwork on the walls. One more bathroom is also located up here with a shower, WC and washbasin.
